We are looking for a seasoned QA Automation Senior Engineer to join our high-performing engineering team in Delhi NCR or Pune. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our quality assurance strategy, architecting robust automation frameworks that ensure the seamless delivery of complex, scalable software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product managers, developers, and DevOps engineers to bridge the gap between feature development and production stability.
By championing automation best practices and mentoring junior team members, you will directly influence the reliability of our platforms, ensuring that our end-users experience a flawless, high-performance product every time they interact with our services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks from scratch to accelerate release cycles and reduce manual testing overhead for our core product suite.
- Lead the integration of automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback to development teams and maintain high code quality standards.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on complex defects to prevent regression issues and improve the overall stability of our production workplace.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define comprehensive test strategies that align with business objectives and ensure critical user journeys are fully covered.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance to foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement across the QA organization.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in building automation frameworks using Java, Python, or JavaScript, coupled with a deep understanding of Selenium, Appium, or Playwright.
- Proven ability to design and execute API testing strategies using tools like RestAssured or Postman to ensure backend service reliability.
- Strong proficiency in cloud-based testing infrastructure and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes to support distributed testing environments.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical quality risks to non-technical stakeholders and influence product roadmap decisions.
