We're a fast-growing startup looking for an Investment Analyst Intern to support our fundraising and investor relations efforts. You'll help us stay closely connected with existing investors and build our pipeline of potential new investors as we grow.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update the investor database/CRM (existing and prospective investors)
Draft and help send regular investor updates (monthly/quarterly newsletters, milestones, KPIs)
Research and identify potential new investors (VCs, angels, family offices) aligned with our stage and sector
Support fundraising materials — pitch decks, data rooms, financial summaries
Track outreach, follow-ups, and investor meeting notes
Assist with due diligence requests from prospective investors
Monitor market/competitor trends relevant to investor conversations
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
Strong written communication skills — comfortable drafting investor-facing content
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills (managing CRM/contact data accurately)
Basic understanding of startup fundraising (rounds, cap tables, term sheets) a plus
Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
Prior experience with CRM tools (e.g. Affinity, HubSpot, Notion) is a plus
Nice to have
Interest in venture capital or startup investing
Experience with investor outreach or business development
Familiarity with data room platforms (DocSend, Carta, etc.)
