Position: Site Engineer (Civil)

CEG specializes in Metro Rail, Railways, Highways, Bridges, Buildings, and other major infrastructure projects.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience for B.E./B.Tech candidates or 5 years for Diploma holders.
- Experience in Metro Rail, Railway, Elevated Structures, Bridges, Flyovers, Viaducts, POD Taxi, or other infrastructure projects is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day construction activities as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Ensure construction work is executed in accordance with quality standards, technical specifications, and contract requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and the client to ensure smooth project execution.




- Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Verify site measurements, maintain daily progress reports, work records, and project documentation.
- Review drawings, identify site issues, and provide technical solutions in coordination with the project team.
- Assist in inspection, testing, billing, and certification of completed works.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment at the site.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, Planning, and Survey teams for seamless execution.
- Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports for management.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of IS Codes, construction standards, and project documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic project reporting tools.
- Positive communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
