Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Credit Manager to lead credit appraisal and underwriting activities across retail and MSME lending portfolios. The role involves evaluating creditworthiness, ensuring adherence to credit policies, managing portfolio quality, and supporting business growth while maintaining prudent risk standards.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

- Conduct detailed credit appraisal of loan applications.
- Evaluate financial statements, bank statements, bureau reports, and repayment capacity.
- Recommend loan approvals/rejections within delegated authority.
- Ensure compliance with the organization's credit policy and underwriting guidelines.
- Monitor portfolio quality and identify early warning signals.
- Coordinate with business, operations, and risk teams for seamless loan processing.
- Support policy enhancements based on portfolio performance and market trends.
- Maintain turnaround time (TAT) while ensuring quality underwriting.

Preferred Experience: 5-10 years in Credit & Underwriting within an NBFC, Bank, or Housing Finance Company.
