Mission of the Role: TheTechnical Quote Leader is responsible for leading current business pursuits/quotesfor the Display product line and coordinating with all Display Product Linefunctions (Customer Regional Engineering, Mechanical, Display & Lens teams,Hardware & Platform Software teams, Program & Commodity Purchasing andManufacturing) and lead & coordinate associated internal engineeringactivities. This role will have a transparent understanding ofwhy, what, and when of an assigned product and will communicate its story andthe business value concisely to all stakeholders.

Typical Duties: Technical lead ofDisplay related engineering activities for Customer RFIs & Quotations: Lead multi-functional global engineeringinternal team to Establish & direct engineering team supportingpursuits/quotes within the Displays Product Line.

Key Stakeholders: Multipleinternal cross-functional stakeholders (example: sales, manufacturing,engineering); OEM customers; strategic suppliers.

Key Objectives of the Role:

- Technical Lead for RFx Quotations:

- Lead global engineering team.

- Direct engineering team for new product line pursuits/quotes.

- Review new product requirements (Mechanical, HW, SW).

- Coordinate technical deliverables for quote timeline.

- Develop optimal designs and review BOM costs.

- Ensure timely completion of quote documentation (TDR, BOM, assumptions).

- Work with Product Management & commercial team on cost targets.

- Identify and initiate long lead items.





- Align make/buy strategy with Manufacturing & Purchasing.

- Review supplier quotes with Purchasing.

- Optimize assembly process with Manufacturing.

- Should Cost/Should Price:

- Lead should-cost and should-price estimations (Display, Lens, eBOM, mBOM).

- Review should-cost and should-price with stakeholders.

- Collaborate with Purchasing and Customer Groups on cost/price targets.

- Align strategies on winning cost targets and prices with related teams and management.

- Process Compliance:

- Ensure compliance during the quote process.

- Support customer milestones and requirements.

Key Year One Deliverables:

Strategic Growth : Develop strategies to expand Display products and increasemarket share.

Should Cost and Should PriceManagement: Increase winning rate by estimatingthe cost and price precisely .

Roadmap Validation : Continuously validate and adjust the product roadmap based oncustomer feedback and industry trends.

RFQ Acquisition : Secure RFQs from auto OEMs to ensure significant lifetimevalue for the Display business.

Technology Leadership : Introduce cutting-edge technologies to drive product andfeature competitiveness.

Cost Optimization : Create product value propositions and cost reduction proposalsto optimize costs.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

Key experience required:

- Years of Experience: 3+ years of Automotive Display product experience or similar;

- Degree Strongly Preferred: Bachelor of Science (minimum), in Mechanical, Displays, or Electronic Engineering (EE), or a related field with equivalent experience.

Desired Competencies/Experience:





- Robust project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;

- Flexibility to support regions/countries in different time zones;

Proven ability to lead and manage multi-functional global engineering internal team .

Strong verbal and written communication skillswith global cultural sensitivity.

Solid presentation skills;

- Ability to understand, at a high level mechanical, display design, electronics & associated implementation;

- Positive MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);

- Good communication skills especially with Customers;

- Ability to work within a constrained deadline (quotes are tight and time-bound);

- Ability to work closely with suppliers for part selections and negotiations;

- A Plus deep understanding of displays & touch technology;

- A Plus understanding of commercial/business/financial measurement (NPV, IRR, EBIT, etc.);

- A Plus experience with Jira, Confluence and AI agents

- Fluent in English;

- Self-motivated with the ability to lead a global team toward a common goal.

- Special Requirements (i.e. overtime, travel, etc.): Domestic and international travel to internal and customer locations may be required (~5-10%).
