Role Description This full-time Interior Designer role at JWR Architects is an on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Interior

Designer will develop interior concepts, prepare design presentations, and collaborate with architects and project teams to integrate interiors with overall building design. Daily responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E; specifications, and preparing detailed construction and interior drawings. The role involves site visits to review implementation, liaising with vendors and contractors, and ensuring that designs meet functional, aesthetic,



and sustainability goals aligned with client requirements.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess solid skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional, aesthetically coherent environments.

Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Architecture and the ability to coordinate interior concepts with architectural intent.

Candidates should possess proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and detailing to guide accurate project execution.

Candidates should possess experience with FF&E; selection, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment coordination.

Candidates should possess competency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools.

Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, consultants, and on-site teams.

Candidates should possess a relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture; prior experience in commercial or residential projects is preferred.
