This is a project based opportunity for Freelancers/Independent Consultants.

Our client, a growth equity fund company is looking to engage with a Consultant - Interim CFO to provide strategic financial leadership during a critical phase of business growth. The ideal candidate should have prior experience as a CFO, possess a strong engineering/services industry background, and have successfully led fundraising initiatives, financial strategy, and investor engagement.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead finance transformation and process improvement initiatives, leveraging strong FP&A; and strategic finance expertise
- Partner with business leaders on FP&A;, budgeting, and performance management, translating insights into actions
- Manage relationships with existing and prospective investors, banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, working capital optimization, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A;).




- Ensure timely preparation of MIS, board reports, and financial performance reviews.
- Drive financial controls, compliance, statutory reporting, taxation, and audit processes.
- Evaluate business performance, identify growth opportunities, and recommend strategic initiatives to improve profitability.

Skills Required

- Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Skilled qualification such as CA is preferred; MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
- Proven fundraising and investor relations experience
- Expertise in corporate finance, compliance, and risk management
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills

- Engineering Services / Technology Services / Industrial Engineering sector
- Experience working with founders and leadership teams
- CA preferred; MBA (Finance) is an added advantage
