Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Instrumentation Engineer role based in Jamnagar.

The Instrumentation

Engineer will be responsible for specifying, installing, and maintaining field instruments such as transmitters, control valves, sensors, and analyzers for plant and process systems. Daily activities include reviewing P&IDs; and engineering drawings, configuring and calibrating instruments, coordinating with electrical and process teams, and supporting commissioning and start-up activities. The role involves monitoring and optimizing process control loops, diagnosing instrumentation issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to ensure secure and efficient plant operations.

The engineer will also prepare technical documentation,



maintain compliance with applicable standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives for reliability and performance.

Qualifications - Candidates should possess strong skills in Instrumentation and Process Control, including selection, configuration, and integration of instruments with control systems (DCS/PLC).

- Candidates should possess hands-on abilities in Calibration and Troubleshooting of field instruments, control loops, and measurement systems.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering related to industrial power and control circuits, wiring practices, and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in interpreting engineering documents such as P&IDs;, loop diagrams, datasheets, and wiring schematics.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial projects and familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., ISA, IEC) is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Jamnagar, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and adhere to health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a project-driven environment.
