Key Responsibilities

- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes for assigned treasury-focused entities, ensuring detailed review of trial balances, balance sheets, and profit and loss accounts.
- Review bank and cash accounting processes, including bank reconciliations, cash pooling, cash in transit, and restricted cash, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with financial standards.
- Oversee intercompany balances, loans, funding, settlements, and interest calculations, investigating discrepancies and ensuring elimination-ready balances for accurate reporting.
- Conduct detailed reviews of treasury accounting activities, including borrowings, deposits, interest accruals, foreign exchange revaluations, and hedge accounting, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Analyze treasury-related profit and loss and balance sheet movements, preparing clear commentary on material funding, interest, and foreign exchange variances for stakeholders.
- Coordinate group reporting submissions, external audit processes, and timely closure of reporting, audit, and control actions for assigned entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Identify recurring exceptions and control gaps, driving root-cause remediation, standardization, and process improvements across financial operations.
- Collaborate with bank, treasury, intercompany, accounts payable/receivable, and other process teams to ensure accurate and compliant accounting outputs, influencing stakeholders effectively.

- Thorough knowledge of IFRS 9, IAS 21, financial controls, and cash flow reporting, with a proven track record in group reporting and audit requirements.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex reconciliations and resolve issues within tight timelines, demonstrating strong stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional certification (CA, CFA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred, with 7-10.11 years of relevant experience. Candidates without certification must have 12-14.11 years of experience supported by a degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and manage financial integrity through collaboration and strong individual ownership of responsibilities.
