Duties/Responsibilities:
- Build, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce applications using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Develop and maintain Apex triggers, classes, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and future methods.
- Create reliable test classes to ensure Salesforce code coverage and alignment with best practices.
- Implement exception handling, logging, and performance optimization measures.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce standard and custom objects, validation rules, workflows, and automation.
- Manage Salesforce security settings, including profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, and sharing rules.
- Create responsive, reusable Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Support and maintain Aura Components as needed.
- Use modern JavaScript (ES6+) for client-side development.
- Connect Lightning components with Apex services and external APIs.
- Design and build Informatica PowerCenter mappings, workflows, sessions, and reusable transformations.
- Use Lookup, Joiner, Aggregator, Expression, Filter, and other transformation components.
- Build and support Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) integrations.
- Configure Salesforce connectors, synchronization tasks, task flows, and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Monitor ETL jobs, resolve failures, and improve performance.
- Implement data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and error-handling processes.
- Design and implement REST and SOAP API integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications.
- Configure Named Credentials and OAuth-based authentication.
- Develop event-driven integrations using Platform Events and Change Data Capture (CDC).
- Support real-time and batch integration architectures.
- Troubleshoot cross-platform integration issues and maintain reliable data flow.
- Perform large-scale data migration and synchronization into Salesforce.
- Design incremental load and data refresh strategies.
- Use External IDs and upsert operations for effective data processing.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce governor limits and platform constraints.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation to maintain data integrity.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Work with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
- Apply data modeling concepts and database performance optimization techniques.
- Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Support CI/CD processes using Salesforce DX, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Contribute to deployment planning, release management, and environment governance.
- Follow Agile practices and software development best practices.
Competency
(Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Apex development, including Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Future Methods, Test Classes, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Security, Flows, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), ETL processes, Salesforce connectors, and workflow management is essential.
- The candidate should possess experience in designing and implementing REST/SOAP API integrations, OAuth authentication, Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and real-time as well as batch processing architectures.
- A solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, data modeling, migration, and reconciliation processes is required.
Experience with Git, Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps is highly desirable.
- Exposure to MuleSoft, Kafka, AWS, Azure, and enterprise integration patterns will be considered an added advantage.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with proven experience delivering large-scale Salesforce integration and data migration projects in complex enterprise environments.
