Role Description The Industrial Engineer at Quick Craft Strategies will work in office in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with manufacturing teams and client stakeholders. This role involves analyzing production workflows, designing efficient layouts, and developing standardized processes for loose furniture manufacturing.
The Industrial
Engineer will collect and interpret operational data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
Responsibilities include supporting implementation of new systems, documenting procedures, and training factory personnel on best practices. The role also requires regular coordination with design,
quality, and operations teams to ensure that engineering solutions align with client requirements and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, with the ability to apply these disciplines to furniture production environments.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for data-driven decision making, problem solving, and performance measurement.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in Process Improvement, including developing and implementing standard operating procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in furniture manufacturing, discrete manufacturing, or consulting for production facilities is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with productivity and analysis tools (e.g., spreadsheets, basic statistical analysis, workflow mapping software); familiarity with lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, engage with factory floor teams, and adapt to dynamic project environments.
