Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end import operations (Sea & Air) for freight forwarding shipments

- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, DGFT, and other statutory requirements

- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, transporters, and overseas agents

- Handle import documentation including Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, BOE, COO, etc.

- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely clearance and delivery

- Resolve shipment-related issues, delays, or discrepancies

- Manage import costing, invoicing, and profit analysis

- Maintain robust relationships with key customers and overseas partners

- Lead and guide the import operations team

- Prepare MIS reports and ensure SOP adherence

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field





- Minimum 7–10years of experience in import operations within a freight forwarding company

- Strong knowledge of Indian customs procedures and import regulations

- Hands-on experience with Sea Freight & Air Freight imports

- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills

- Proficient in MS Office and freight management systems

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

- Experience handling FCL, LCL, and project cargo imports

- Familiarity with ICEGATE, EDI filing, and customs portals

- Customer-focused and problem-solving mindset
