Role Description The Import Export Manager will oversee end-to-end import and export operations for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities include managing export documentation, coordinating with suppliers, buyers, freight forwarders, and customs agents, and monitoring shipments to ensure timely delivery. The role involves negotiating terms, optimizing logistics costs, maintaining accurate records, and resolving operational issues related to cross-border trade. The manager will also analyze market trends, support pricing decisions, and contribute to business development initiatives in global markets.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Muzaffarnagar.

Qualifications





Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Candidates should possess Import Export and International Trade knowledge, including familiarity with trade regulations, Incoterms, and global supply chain practices.

Candidates should possess Export and Export Documentation skills, including preparation and review of invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and compliance documents.

Candidates should possess skills in coordination and logistics, such as vendor management, shipment tracking, and working with freight forwarders and customs authorities.

Candidates should ideally have experience in metals or industrial commodities trading, with solid analytical and negotiation skills.

Candidates should have proficiency with MS Office and basic ERP or trade management software, along with strong attention to detail.

Candidates should typically hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, International Trade, or a related field; relevant certifications in export-import or logistics are an advantage.
