Job Profile:- COP- Team Lead, Reporting (R2R)

ESSENCE OF ROLE- Key Responsibilities1

1.Compliance Responsibilities

- Oversee delivery of monthly/quarterly reporting outputs (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with accuracy and strict timelines
- Review financial statements, variance analysis, and commentary before submission
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs for reporting processes and ensure adherence
- Drive audit readiness and ensure compliance with internal controls, SOPs, and policies
- Review inventory, costing, freight accruals, GR/IR, and stock movement analysis
- Ensure completeness of statutory deliverables such as VAT, ECSL, and tax schedules

2 Customer Service

- Act as primary escalation point for reporting issues and stakeholder queries
- Engage with onshore stakeholders (UK/US/other markets) to ensure service delivery and expectations are met
- Drive strong collaboration with GL, FP&A;, Intercompany, Treasury, and Business teams
- Ensure proactive communication on risks, delays, and issue resolution

3 Team Management & Capability Development

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of analysts/senior analysts
- Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure SLA/KPI adherence
- Drive cross-training and ensure adequate backup planning across all activities
- Conduct regular feedback sessions, performance reviews, and coaching
- Support hiring, onboarding, and transition of new resources

4 Governance, Innovation and Learning

- Identify and drive automation opportunities (BPC, SAP, reporting tools, etc.)




- Lead process improvement initiatives and standardization across entities
- Reduce manual interventions and improve efficiency and accuracy
- Track and report productivity improvements and cost savings.
- Review and approve SOPs; ensure they are updated and audit-compliant
- Strengthen control environment and ensure SOX/IFRS compliance where applicable
- Monitor reporting accuracy and drive root cause analysis for errors

5 Teamwork & Communication

- Build a high-performance, collaborative team setting
- Ensure strong communication across GCC and global stakeholders
- Promote a customer-centric and partnership-driven approach

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS ESSENTIALDESIRED

- B.com / M.com / CA/CMA/ACCA/CPA and MBA finance
- 6 to 10+ years of experience in R2R / Reporting
- 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Good Understanding of General accounting
- 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of Local GAAP
- Knowledge of SOX, and IFRS
- Experience in SSC/ BPO/ KPO
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Fluency in English (both written and oral)
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to be flexible with job duties and scope of work
- Knowledge of any of the regional languages
- Prior experience in directly interacting with international stakeholders (US / UK - for international positions)
- Experience in transition / Knowledge transfer (Previous experience receiving transition)
- Experience in creating and taking ownership of process SOPs /DTPs.
