What would you do
You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
Record to Report (R2R) is a finance and accounting process that involves collecting, processing, and delivering accurate financial data. This includes recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements. The goal is to provide a clear and accurate picture of a companys financial performance. Effective R2R processes ensure compliance with accounting standards and support informed decision-making. Manage material stocks on a quantity and value basis, entering and documenting all goods movements and updating the physical inventory. It involves recording and tracking materials in terms of quantity and value using inventory management functions that cater for internal movements and storage. Implement and manage the processes for the setup of inventory structure to support stocking, tracking, and inventory replenishment, accounting for write offs and inventory.
What are we looking for
Education- BCOM/MCOM/ CMA- Inter/ CA- Inter
ERP / any certification required- SAP / SAP S/4HANA, BlackLine or reconciliation tools
Commerce graduate with 7+ years of experience in Record to Report / Financial Accounting operations
Exposure to Retail industry processes and operations is desirable and will be considered an added advantage
Deep RTR knowledge covering GL reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, consolidation support, journal processing, financial reporting and month-end / quarter-end / year-end close
Team supervision, work allocation, coaching support and performance governance
Ownership of SLA/KPI performance, operational reporting, escalation management and stakeholder communication
Strong analytical, interpretation, presentation, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Continuous improvement, transformation mindset, process control and compliance ownership
SAP / Oracle / BlackLine or reconciliation tool knowledge
Automation / macro / mini-bot / process improvement exposure
Experience in handling critical escalations and client governance
Project finance exposure would be an added advantage
Advanced Excel / Access / reporting query exposure
Roles and Responsibilities:
- In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems
- May create current solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures
- The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals
- Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor
- May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture
- Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments
- Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside
- Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
