Job Summary

We are looking for an Ignition Engineer with hands-on experience in Ignition 8.3 to develop and maintain SCADA and industrial automation applications. The role involves working with real-time data, dashboards, and system integrations. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable and high-performance solutions for industrial environments. They will also contribute to improving system efficiency, reliability, and data-driven decision-making.

- Experience: 2–6 years

- Key Responsibilities
- Design dashboards and visualization screens (perspective/vision).
- Integrate PLC/machine data using SCADA, OPC UA, Modbus, etc.
- Configure tags, alarms, and Tag Historian
- Develop Python scripts for automation and business logic




- Work with SQL databases for data storage and reporting
- Build reports and dashboards for monitoring and analytics
- Integrate external systems using REST APIs (ERP/MES)
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance
- Support deployment and ongoing system maintenance

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Ignition 8.3 (Perspective, Gateway)
- Valuable understanding of SCADA and industrial automation
- Experience with OPC UA, Modbus, or similar industrial protocols
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL)
- Python scripting knowledge (Ignition Jython preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills
