IGCSE Economics Teacher Facilitator

The IGCSE Economics Teacher Facilitator is responsible for delivering engaging, learner-centred Economics lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. The role involves fostering critical thinking, analytical skills, and real-world economic understanding while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. The teacher will contribute to curriculum planning, student assessment, and the wider life of the school.

Qualifications

Essential

Master's or bachelor's degree in economics, Commerce, Business Economics, or a related discipline.

B.Ed. or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Economics or an equivalent international curriculum.





Excellent understanding of the Cambridge assessment framework and examination requirements.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

High level of proficiency in spoken and written English.

Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms.

Preferred

Experience teaching Cambridge AS & A Level Economics.

Cambridge Career development qualifications or certification.

Experience with interdisciplinary and project-based learning.
