Role Description This is a full-time, on-site IELTS Trainer role based in Kochi Kerala India. The IELTS Trainer will deliver high-quality classroom-based training to learners preparing for the IELTS examination, focusing on listening, reading, writing, and speaking modules. Daily responsibilities include planning and conducting lessons, creating and updating training materials, assessing learner performance, providing individualized feedback, and tracking progress.

The role also involves conducting mock tests, guiding learners on exam strategies and time management,



and collaborating with colleagues to refine course content and maintain consistent training standards. The trainer will support Medcity’s broader mission by advising learners on language requirements for international education and healthcare career pathways.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to train diverse learner groups.

Candidates should possess Lesson Planning skills and the ability to design structured, engaging, and outcome-focused lessons.

Candidates should possess expertise in IELTS exam formats, scoring criteria, and test-taking strategies.

Candidates should possess Teaching English as a Foreign Language skills and experience supporting learners with diverse language proficiency.

Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; relevant teaching certifications (e.g., TEFL/TESOL) are an advantage.

Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with a clear and neutral accent suitable for training.

Strong classroom management, mentoring, and feedback skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive approach.

Prior experience as an IELTS Trainer or English language instructor, preferably in a coaching or test-preparation environment.

Ability to use digital tools for content creation, assessments, and learner tracking; familiarity with online learning platforms is beneficial.
