Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Medcity International Academy’s Kochi center. This role is responsible for overseeing HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee lifecycle management for academic and administrative teams.

The Human Resources

Manager will develop and implement HR policies, manage performance appraisal processes,



and support professional development initiatives aligned with the academy’s mission and standards. Daily activities include handling employee relations, maintaining compliance with labor laws and institutional policies, managing payroll inputs and perks administration, and preparing HR reports and documentation. The role also involves partnering with leadership to shape organizational culture, support change management, and ensure a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications

Solid foundation in core HR functions, including recruitment and selection, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.

Experience with HR policies, labor law compliance, and HR documentation, ideally within education, training, or service-oriented organizations.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Proficiency in HRIS or HR-related software, basic data analysis, and report generation to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

Demonstrated organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.

Experience in educational, training, or coaching institutions, and familiarity with international education or healthcare training environments is beneficial.
