Human Resources (HR) Executive / HR Manager

Location: IIT Kanpur, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh (On-site)

Experience: 6 months – 2 years

Salary: ₹8,000 – ₹12,000 per month

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated HR Executive / HR Manager to join our team at IIT Kanpur . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building processes, and contributing to a fast-growing AI startup.

While your primary responsibility will be Human Resources, this is a startup environment where every team member contributes beyond a single function. You should be comfortable wearing multiple hats, taking ownership of new challenges, and supporting cross-functional initiatives whenever needed. This role offers excellent exposure to HR, operations, administration, people management, and startup execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Support performance management and employee feedback processes.
- Assist in implementing HR policies and ensuring compliance.




- Organize employee engagement activities and internal communications.
- Handle day-to-day HR operations and resolve employee queries.
- Collaborate with founders and team leads on hiring plans and workforce initiatives.
- Support administrative, operational, and cross-functional projects as required, embracing a startup mindset and taking ownership beyond traditional HR responsibilities.

Qualifications
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, or a related role.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced startup workplace.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and HR tools is preferred.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Interest in AI, technology, and startups is an added advantage.
