Role & responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, screening, interview coordination, and offer rollout across departments.
- Handle onboarding and induction for new employees, including documentation and joining formalities.
- Maintain employee records, HRMS/attendance systems, and leave management.
- Draft and issue offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, and relieving/experience letters.
- Manage payroll inputs, coordinate with finance for salary processing, PF/ESIC, and statutory compliance.
- Design and implement HR policies (leave, code of conduct, appraisal process) suited to a fast-growing startup.
- Handle employee grievances, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
- Support culture-building initiatives, engagement activities, and internal communication.
- Oversee office administration facilities, vendor management, housekeeping, and security with the help of admin assistant
- Manage procurement of office supplies, equipment,
and AMC contracts.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws, licenses (Shops & Establishment, etc.), and statutory registers.
Preferred candidate profile
- Graduate/MBA in HR or related field.
- 35 years of experience in HR and administration, ideally in a startup or media/entertainment environment.
- Robust knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment Act).
- Hands-on experience with HRMS tools, payroll coordination, and recruitment processes.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive/confidential matters with discretion.
Good to Have
- Experience setting up HR processes from scratch in an early-stage company.
- Exposure to media, entertainment, or content platform businesses.
