About the Role

As our HR & People Operations Associate, you'll own the complete employee lifecycle, from hiring exceptional talent and building a excellent employee experience to managing HR operations, payroll, compliance and culture. You'll work closely with the founders and play a key role in building the team that's building Snooplay.

What You"ll Do:

- Own the complete recruitment lifecycle by sourcing talent, coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for every new hire.
- Prepare and manage job descriptions, publish openings across hiring platforms, and build a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Drive employee onboarding, documentation, induction and day-to-day people operations to ensure a smooth and engaging employee experience.
- Manage attendance, leave records, payroll inputs and salary coordination while maintaining complete accuracy and confidentiality.
- Handle PF, ESIC and other statutory compliance requirements by coordinating closely with Finance, consultants and external partners.
- Manage employee exits, full and final settlements, and all associated documentation while ensuring a professional offboarding experience.




- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives that strengthen culture, improve collaboration and make Snooplay a great place to work.
- Address employee queries, resolve workplace concerns and support the implementation of HR policies and best practices across the organization.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation and operational processes while continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with founders and cross-functional teams to ensure people processes support business goals and organizational growth.
- Step beyond your core responsibilities whenever the business needs it, taking ownership of cross-functional initiatives and solving problems wherever you can create the greatest impact.

What We're Looking For

- 1–2 years of experience in HR, recruitment or people operations within a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and Google Workspace.
- Someone who enjoys taking ownership, learning quickly, adapting to change and getting things done.
