The Manager- HR &
- IR will be responsible in ensuring payroll (on-roll & contractual) along with statutory compliance, ensuring legal compliance with various labour, factory, and industrial laws, and filings and records related to licenses, permissions, and welfare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Labour Department Compliance
- Apply and renew Labour Licenses (Form II) and maintain:
- Contractor Licenses (Form VI)
- Labour Welfare Fund (Form F)
- Gate Entry Registers
- Contractor Agreements
- Maintain registers as per the Minimum Wages Act:
- Form I, II, III, IV, V, XI (e.g., muster rolls, fines, overtime, deductions, wage slips)
- Maintain registers under the Contract Labour Act:
- Forms XII to XXIII (e.g., contractor and workmen registers, wage cards, deductions, fines, advances, muster rolls)
- Prepare Annual Returns for Principal Employer
- Submit Labour Welfare Fund Returns (Form F)
- Department of Factories
- Ensure timely payment of Annual License Fees
- Submission of Integrated Annual Returns
- Building Permission Proceedings
- Approved Factory Drawings
- Lifting Tools and Tackles Certifications
- Safety compliance for lifts, cranes, hoists, pressure vessels, racks, belts, and gloves
- Building Stability Certificates

- Prepare documentation and evidence for SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) under the 4 Pillars:
- Labour Standards ensure all employment practices comply with local labour laws
- Health &
- Safety monitor and document workplace safety and risk mitigation
- Setting maintain records on waste, emissions, and sustainability compliance
- Business Ethics implement anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and fair business practices
- Conduct internal assessments and gap analysis to ensure SMETA readiness
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and evidence
- Drive continuous improvements based on audit findings
Qualifications
- MBA- Human Resource (preferably in Law, HR, Industrial Relations, or related field)
- 8 years of experience in statutory compliance or industrial legal documentation
- Familiarity with Indian Labour Laws, Factory Act, and Environmental Regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office, record-keeping, and document management systems
