Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Barnala for a Hub Incharge and Team Lead. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations of the logistics hub, including inbound and outbound shipments, loading and unloading activities, and timely dispatches.

The Hub

Incharge and Team Lead will manage staff scheduling, task allocation, and performance supervision to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to service standards. The position includes monitoring delivery timelines, resolving operational issues, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with regional management and partners. The role also requires enforcing safety and compliance procedures, optimizing resources, and contributing to continuous process improvement within the hub.





Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in hub operations management, shipment handling, and basic inventory control to oversee first mile and last mile logistics activities.

Candidates should possess skills in team leadership, staff supervision, and conflict resolution to manage and motivate hub personnel effectively.

Candidates should possess skills in communication, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and customer service to maintain smooth operational relationships.

Candidates should possess skills in data recording, basic MS Excel or similar tools, and documentation to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of daily operations.

Candidates should possess skills in problem-solving, decision-making, and time management to address operational challenges and meet delivery timelines.

Relevant experience in logistics, courier, e-commerce delivery, or supply chain operations is highly beneficial.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred, though substantial relevant experience may also be considered.

Ability to work flexible hours based on operational needs and familiarity with local geography around Barnala will be advantageous.
