The Harbour

Club, operating since 2013, has evolved while staying true to its values. The upcycling of an old American ship’s wooden deck into floors and tables set the tone for a sustainable restaurant from the outset. The team works closely with passionate foragers and local growers to ensure high-quality, seasonal ingredients.

The wine list features biodynamic, organic, and vegan options, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to conscious choices. Guests can contribute to sustainability by planting a fruit tree with each bill; nearly 20,000 trees have been planted to date, offsetting the restaurant’s carbon footprint. This philosophy is embraced by the entire team and has become one of the restaurant’s core values.

The menu offers creative Mediterranean cuisine inspired by Valletta’s streets, stories, and culture. Highlights include Liesse Hill’s Acquerello Risotto with diced calamari, caramelised cauliflower, and calamari mousse; East Street’s Catch of the Day with mussels, cannellini beans, lovage, Jerusalem artichoke, and mussel beurre blanc; and St. John Street’s Apple Pudding with roasted layered apple, dates, bread pudding, Calvados anglaise, spiced sourdough ice cream, and almond tuile.
