Responsibilities:

- Assist in designing and supporting HPC (High-Performance Computing) and storage systems on-premises and in cloud clusters.
- Troubleshoot issues related to OS, storage, network, and other infrastructure components in collaboration with other infrastructure teams.
- Enhance research infrastructure by exploring and deploying new technologies and methodologies.
- Support management of diverse compute capabilities, including CPU and GPU resources.
- Work directly with trading teams to provide a fully integrated research platform.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience in HPC, storage, or infrastructure support.
- Experience with distributed file systems such as NFS and Weka.
- Familiarity with job schedulers such as Slurm.




- Experience with cloud providers like GCP or AWS.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP stack, Ethernet).
- Understanding of Linux kernel concepts (e.g., virtual memory, filesystems, CPU scheduling).
- Programming experience with Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
- Working knowledge of hardware and server components.
- Robust communication skills and interest in tracking hardware/software technology trends.
