About this Role

We are seeking a Collibra Data Governance Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-wide data governance solutions using the Collibra platform. This role is responsible for delivering governance workflows, metadata management capabilities, platform integrations, and data governance frameworks that enable effective data management, regulatory compliance, and business adoption across the organisation. The role offers the opportunity to work with stakeholders across business and technology teams to drive data governance maturity and support strategic data initiatives.

What you will do

- Act as a subject matter expert for the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of Collibra Data Governance solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Collibra workflows using Groovy scripting, BPMN, and the Collibra Workflow Developer toolset.
- Build and maintain integration solutions using Collibra Connect, APIs, and REST services.
- Integrate Collibra with enterprise platforms including data quality tools, data catalog solutions, master data management platforms, and other business systems.
- Configure and manage Communities, Domains, Roles, Responsibilities, and governance operating models within Collibra.
- Create and maintain business, technical, governance, and data assets, ensuring metadata quality and consistency.
- Establish and manage relationships between datasets, systems, applications,



and business processes to support lineage and impact analysis.
- Develop and maintain business glossaries, metadata repositories, reference data structures, and governance frameworks.
- Produce technical designs, architecture standards, implementation documentation, and operational procedures.
- Support governance adoption through stakeholder engagement, knowledge sharing, and platform enablement activities.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements, including data privacy frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement across data governance processes and solutions.

Who you are

- Proven experience working with data governance, metadata management, and data catalog solutions, with strong expertise in the Collibra platform.
- Strong technical capability with advanced SQL skills and exposure to Python scripting.
- Experience designing and implementing Collibra operating models, workflows, governance controls, and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of BPMN workflow development, Groovy scripting, and API-based integration approaches.
- Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources and large-scale enterprise data environments.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks, metadata management, data lineage, business glossary management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience working with file formats and data structures such as CSV, JSON, XML, and machine log files.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams and contribute to solution design discussions.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and delivery commitments.
