Oracle Core DBA - With Migration/Upgrade Experience and GoldenGate

Pan India Location

-Develop detailed high level and low level designs using Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud and OCI Cloud Compute Service to meet stringent performance and reliability expectations for mission critical financial systems

- Managing Oracle database environment - In-Premise and/or Cloud Environment (preferably OCI and ExaDB), versions 19c
- Setup, Perform and monitor database backups for successful completion.
- Configure Data Guard databases, support, monitoring and rebuild standby DBs.
- Install and patch Oracle database software - RDBMS and Grid, RAC (11g, 12c, 18c, 19c) and related components
- Perform database performance tuning(indexing and optimizer strategies, stored procedures/triggers, partitioning, commit levels, rollbacks, locking schemes, temporary spaces/sort areas, and memory management).
- Strong RAC Implementation and support experience.
- 19c/18c/12 Database upgrades and migration experience.




- Proficient in instance (memory) tuning, database performance tuning, SQL tuning, configuring Linux Kernel for Oracle Database usage, and tuning contention for I/O.
- Proficient in PL/SQL code optimization, tuning and development.
- Good experience with Golden Gate Configuration and troubleshooting
- Exposure to Zero downtime migrations using Golden Gate and troubleshoot issues related to replication
- Valuable exposure in Unix shell scripting.
- Excellent oral/written communication
- Participate in on-call / Escalation till closure.

- Proficient in PL/SQL code optimization, tuning and development.
- Sound knowledge in SQL Tuning, SQL Plan management
