Role & responsibilities * Operate conventional and/or CNC lathe machines for machining brass components.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

* Set up machines and select appropriate cutting tools and machine parameters.

* Perform turning, facing, drilling, threading, and boring operations.

* Monitor machine performance and ensure accurate dimensions and surface finish.

* Conduct routine machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.

* Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.

* Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

* Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

* Report machine issues and production concerns to the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

* ITI (Turner/Machinist/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

* Higher Secondary (12th)

Experience

* *15 years* of experience as a Lathe Machine Operator in a manufacturing industry.

* Experience in *Brass Manufacturing* will be preferred.
