Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with solid expertise in Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI) to drive innovation and solve complex business problems. This role requires hands-on experience in predictive modeling, optimization, and generative techniques, with the ability to design and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful insights and cutting-edge applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Predictive Modeling: Design, build, and deploy ML models for demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, and inventory optimization.
- Design, build, and deploy predictive and optimization models for use cases such as demand Forecasting, dynamic pricing, or inventory optimization.
- Generative AI Solutions: Develop and fine-tune LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Claude, PaLM) for summarization, content generation, semantic search, and question answering.
- Pipeline Development: Build scalable data pipelines and workflows using Python, SQL, and distributed computing tools (Spark, Hadoop).
- RAG Frameworks: Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines using LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).
- Optimization: Apply operations research and optimization libraries (PuLP, OR-Tools, Gurobi) to solve supply chain and pricing challenges.
- Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities and prototype solutions.




- Visualization & Communication: Present findings to leadership using Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, and storytelling techniques.
- Mentorship:Guide junior data scientists and analysts in ML and GenAI best practices.
- Research & Innovation: Stay current with advancements in ML, statistics, operations research, and GenAI/LLM ecosystems.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+years in Data Science/AI roles, with proven business impact.
- Strong programming skills in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation.
- Deep understanding of ML algorithms (regression, classification, clustering,time series forecasting).
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and few-shot learning.
- Experience with orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and vector stores.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and MLOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Operations Research, or related fields.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, or logistics domains.
- Exposure to optimization libraries and enterprise-scale GenAI applications.
- Contributions to open-source projects or publications in ML/GenAI.
- Familiarity with APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta AI, or Google Cloud GenAI.
