Role Summary
The Content Producer is responsible for conceptualising, planning, producing and delivering high-quality digital content that supports IIC Lakshya's marketing objectives and brand strategy.
Working closely with the Social Media, Performance Marketing, Brand Marketing and other cross-functional teams, the Content Producer will transform business objectives into compelling content that drives engagement, brand preference, enquiries and admissions.
The Content Producer owns the complete content lifecyclefrom ideation and production to publishing, optimisation and performance reviewwhile ensuring every piece of content serves a clearly defined business objective.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with Social Media, Performance Marketing, Brand Marketing and other internal stakeholders to conceptualise content strategies, campaigns and creative ideas aligned with IIC Lakshya's business and brand objectives.
- Translate marketing objectives into content plans that effectively engage the target audience across platforms.
- Identify opportunities for trend-based, seasonal and moment marketing content while ensuring alignment with the brand.
- Conceptualise, develop and manage original Intellectual Properties (IPs) that contribute towards IIC Lakshya's long-term brand equity and marketing KPIs.
Content Production
- Plan, coordinate and oversee the production of videos, reels, campaigns, testimonials, interviews and other digital content.
- Work collaboratively with Copywriters, Graphic Designers, Videographers, Editors, Motion Designers and other creative resources to deliver high-quality content.
- Prepare production briefs, scripts, shot lists and execution plans wherever required.
- Ensure timely execution and delivery of content while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Business Impact & Content Effectiveness
- Understand the business objective behind every content requirement before production begins.
- Ensure every piece of content is created with a clearly defined purpose—whether it is brand building, lead generation, admissions, engagement, recruitment, employer branding or student retention.
- Define success metrics for content in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Evaluate content performance against its intended objective and recommend improvements for future campaigns.
- Drive a culture where content is measured by business impact rather than content volume.
Quality & Brand Management
- Monitor and maintain consistency in visual identity, messaging, storytelling and brand guidelines across all content.
- Review all content prior to publishing to ensure quality, accuracy and alignment with brand standards.
- Collect and incorporate cross-functional feedback to continuously improve content quality.
Performance Analysis
- Periodically analyse content performance across all relevant platforms.
- Monitor reach, engagement, watch time, conversions and other relevant KPIs.
- Prepare periodic performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop optimisation plans, obtain necessary approvals and execute improvements based on performance data.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise efficiently within the creative team, the Marketing department and the wider organisation to ensure seamless execution of content initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with celebrities, influencers, vloggers, creators and strategic partners to expand IIC Lakshya's digital reach.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful campaign execution.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with evolving social media trends, content formats, AI tools and emerging digital technologies.
- Continuously explore innovative storytelling techniques and content formats.
- Contribute towards improving production workflows, systems and departmental processes.
- Pursue relevant certifications and professional development opportunities to enhance role effectiveness.
- Develop proficiency across all content formats and marketing collaterals required by the organisation.

Qualifications
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in digital content production, media, social media or creative agencies.
