Hotel Operations Manager – Front Office & Restaurant Service

Only candidates with hotel / resort / restaurant work experience will be considered. Applications from other industries (IT, BPO, logistics, manufacturing, retail, banking) will not be reviewed.

About us: RK Resorts is a 15-room boutique resort in Thirunallar, Karaikal, 2.5 km from the Saneeswaran Temple, with Crave — our 60-seat multi-cuisine restaurant, a 150-seat banquet hall (Le Petit Éclair), infinity pool and garden lawn.

The role: One Operations Manager taking full charge of daily operations — front office, restaurant floor service, and banquet events. You report directly to the proprietor and are the senior-most person on the floor. This is a hands-on floor role in an independent property, not a corporate desk job.

Responsibilities:

- Front office: shift roster, check-in/check-out, hotel PMS, OTA arrivals, cash and card settlement, daily handover
- Restaurant (Crave): floor supervision, service roster, POS/KOT flow, opening and closing checks, service standards
- Banquets (Le Petit Éclair): function sheets, setup, casual staff arrangement, on-floor execution on event day
- Staff: daily attendance, leave roster, training to written SOPs, managing a casual staff pool for weekends and events
- Guests: complaint handling on the floor, drafting Google/OTA review replies, feedback at checkout
- Reporting:



one daily operations flash to the proprietor (occupancy, covers, revenue, cash, staffing)

Must have:

- 4–7 years in hotels, resorts or full-service restaurants, minimum 2 years supervisory
- Hands-on banquet/event execution experience (100+ guests)
- Working knowledge of any hotel PMS and restaurant POS
- Fluent Tamil, working English (Hindi/Telugu an advantage)
- Willing to relocate to Karaikal and stay in property accommodation
- 6-day week, 9-hour shift; weekly off on a weekday only — Saturdays and Sundays are working days
