Role & responsibilities

- Assist in the procurement of medicines, medical consumables, equipment, and general supplies.

- Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders under the guidance of the Purchase Manager.

- Follow up with vendors regarding delivery schedules and pending orders.

- Receive and verify materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.

- Check quantities, batch numbers, and expiry dates of received items.

- Store materials appropriately and maintain cleanliness and organization in the store.

- Issue materials to departments based on approved requisitions.

- Update stock records in the ERP/Hospital Information System (HIS).

- Assist in maintaining minimum and reorder stock levels.

- Support periodic physical stock verification and inventory reconciliation.

- Maintain purchase, receipt, issue, and stock documentation.

- Coordinate with the accounts department for invoice submission and record maintenance.
