School Coordinator Responsibilities & Duties

- Plan and coordinate school events, including but not limited to open house, parent-teacher conferences, and graduation ceremonies

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student, staff, and school records

- Communicate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure a team-oriented and supportive school environment

- Manage and reconcile the school budget and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded

- Supervise and provide guidance to administrative and support staff

- Oversee school safety and emergency procedures and ensure that all staff and students are trained in these procedures

- Collaborate with other school coordinators, administrators, and community organizations to promote the school and support student success

School Coordinator Qualifications & Skills

- Master’s degree in Education Administration or related field

- Experience working in educational administration





- Strong leadership and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

- Proficiency in educational software and technologies

- Experience in curriculum development

- Knowledge of school regulatory requirements

- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills

- Strong commitment to educational excellence and equity

- Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, or a related field

- 3+ years of experience in a similar role

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Familiarity with budget management and financial record-keeping
