Key Responsibilities

- Perform SMP/E and Non-SMP/E installation, customization, and maintenance of ISV products.

- Manage installation and upgrades of IBM and Broadcom software products.

- Execute z/OS V2.5 (or later) upgrades using z/OSMF workflows.

- Work extensively with z/OS system commands, utilities, and automation tools.

- Configure and manage IODF and HCD to add and maintain system devices.

- Develop and execute project plans for upgrades, maintenance, and decommissioning activities.

- Coordinate with stakeholders and communicate timelines, deliverables, and risks effectively.

- Formulate roadmaps with prerequisites to ensure successful project completion.

- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

- Robust expertise in SMP/E and Non-SMP/E installations.

- Hands-on experience with IBM and Broadcom software products.

- Deep knowledge of z/OS system commands, utilities, and tools.

- Experience with z/OS upgrades (V2.5 or higher) using z/OSMF.

- Proficiency in JCL and IBM Utilities (IEBGENER, IEBCOPY, AMASPZAP, DFDSS).

- Experience with ISPF/TSO environments.

- Working knowledge of IODF and HCD configuration.

- Basic scripting knowledge in REXX/CLIST.
