Position: Head – Human Resources Job Summary The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for leading the complete HR function across the organization, ensuring the availability of skilled manpower, statutory compliance, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development. The role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who can build scalable HR systems while supporting daily manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities
- HR Strategy & Leadership
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Establish HR policies, SOPs, and best practices.
Drive organizational culture, discipline, and employee productivity.
Advise management on workforce planning and organizational development.

Talent
Acquisition
Lead recruitment for production, design, service, sales, quality, and support functions.
Develop campus hiring, apprenticeship, and referral programs.
Reduce hiring turnaround time while maintaining quality.
Build a strong employer brand in the manufacturing sector.
3.
Performance
Management
Design and manage KPI-based performance appraisal systems.
Monitor departmental productivity and employee performance.
Implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) where required.
Drive succession planning and leadership development.
- Payroll & HR Operations
Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll inputs, and full & final settlements.
Ensure timely documentation including offer letters, appointment letters, confirmations, and exits.
Maintain employee records through ERP/HRMS.

Statutory
Compliance
Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations.
Supervise PF, ESIC, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, Labour Welfare Fund, Factory Act, and Contract Labour compliance.
Coordinate audits and inspections by government authorities.
Maintain statutory registers and records.

Employee
Relations
Handle grievances, disciplinary matters,
domestic inquiries, and conflict resolution.
Promote employee engagement initiatives and retention programs.
Foster a positive and performance-driven work culture.
- Learning & Development
Identify skill gaps and prepare annual training calendars.
Conduct leadership, technical, behavioural, and compliance training.
Coordinate induction and onboarding programs.
- Administration & Facility Coordination
Supervise HR and administrative teams.
Coordinate employee transport, accommodation, canteen, uniforms, and welfare activities.
Ensure workplace discipline, safety awareness, and adherence to company policies.
- HR Analytics & Reporting
Prepare HR dashboards and MIS reports.
Track key HR metrics including:
Attrition Rate
Recruitment TAT
Attendance
Overtime
Absenteeism
Employee Productivity
Training Hours
Compliance Status Required Qualifications
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Manufacturing/Engineering exposure preferred). Experience
7 to 10 years in Human Resources.
Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
Experience in CNC machine manufacturing, heavy engineering, fabrication, or industrial equipment companies will be preferred.
