ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Information Systems & ERP to lead enterprise-wide digital transformation, ERP implementation, and IT strategy. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Navision, combined with hands-on experience across Power BI, Power Apps, CRM integrations, and multi-site IT operations. This role demands a strategic thinker who can manage end-to-end ERP lifecycles, lead cross-functional implementation teams, coordinate technology vendors, and drive operational excellence across group companies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. ERP Leadership & Implementation

- Lead full-cycle implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across group entities (manufacturing, trading, logistics).
- Drive implementations across multiple locations and legal entities corporate, plant, and branch offices.
- Oversee module rollouts including Finance, Purchase, Sales, Manufacturing, Inventory, Cost Management, and Warehouse Management.
- Manage re-implementations and upgrades from legacy Navision environments to Dynamics 365 BC.
- Define and enforce ERP governance, master data management, and process standardization.

2. System Integrations & Automation

- Architect and manage third-party integrations including HubSpot CRM and Salesforce CRM, ensuring seamless bi-directional data flow with the ERP system.
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce CRM implementation across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud modules; manage Salesforce administration including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and permission sets.
- Provide ongoing Salesforce support: data migration, user onboarding, CRM enhancements, and integration maintenance with Dynamics 365 BC.
- Implement digital compliance integrations: E-Invoice, E-Waybill, GST/TDS configurations within BC.
- Drive automation via Power Apps, Power Automate,



and business process reengineering initiatives.
- Manage WhatsApp, SMS, Email notification automation tied to ERP workflows.

3. Project & Vendor Management

- Manage ERP implementation partner relationships, contracts, and delivery accountability.
- Conduct Business Value Assessments (BVAs) and define project plans, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Lead cross-functional steering committees and coordinate between business heads and the development team.
- Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of customizations, reports, and go-live readiness.
- Track and resolve vendor escalations; manage defect accountability and quality benchmarks.

4. Documentation, Training & Reporting

- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD), Minutes of Meeting (MOM), Change Request documents, and User Manuals.
- Conduct module-wise and department-wise user training programs for ERP rollouts.
- Create training presentations (PPT) and upload to Learning Management System (LMS) for knowledge retention.
- Deliver periodic IT/ERP performance reports to management: Daily, Weekly, and Monthly.
- Prepare Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) and UAT documentation.

5. Power BI, Tableau & Analytics

- Design and deploy Power BI dashboards for business-critical KPIs across Finance, Sales, Production, and Inventory.
- Define data models, connect to BC/SQL sources, and automate report distribution to management.
- Implement and administer Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server / Tableau Online for enterprise-wide analytics and reporting.
- Design and publish Tableau dashboards and workbooks connecting to ERP, SQL Server, and Salesforce CRM data sources; manage scheduled data refreshes and workbook permissions.
- Conduct Tableau user training across business units and drive adoption of self-service BI, reducing dependency on ad-hoc report requests.





REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Core ERP Skills

- 12+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong command over BC modules: Finance, Purchase, Sales, Manufacturing, Inventory, Cost Management, Warehouse.
- Expert knowledge of Indian Taxation in BC: GST, TDS, E-Invoice, and E-Waybill compliance.
- Proven track record of full-cycle ERP implementations across manufacturing, chemicals, pharma, and FMCG sectors.
- Ability to manage user roles, permission sets, and application-level access controls in BC.

Technical & Integration Skills

- Development experience with C/AL, AL (BC extensions), JSON, RDLC report design.
- Proficiency in SQL Server for data management, query writing, and integration support.
- Experience integrating CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) with Dynamics ERP.
- Hands-on Power BI and Tableau dashboard development; Power Apps implementation and workflow automation.
- Experience with PLC-HMI-SCADA machine connectivity, barcode/weighing scale integration.
- Salesforce CRM implementation and administration experience (Sales Cloud / Service Cloud); hands-on Salesforce integration with Microsoft Dynamics ERP using APIs and middleware.
- Tableau Server / Tableau Online administration: data source governance, workbook publishing, scheduled refreshes, user permissions, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of APIs (WhatsApp, SMS, Email).

Leadership & Soft Skills

- Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and mentor IT/ERP teams across multi-site environments.
- Strong project management skills planning, risk management, cost control, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent business analysis skills: translating user needs into FDDs, BRDs, and technical specifications.
- Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati for effective cross-functional communication.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.

Education

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- MBA (Finance / IT Management) preferred; additional certifications in Microsoft Dynamics BC are a strong advantage.
