We are seeking a skilled and creative individual to join our team as a Video Editor cum Social Media Content Editor. In this role, you will be responsible for editing and creating engaging video content for various social media platforms. You will collaborate closely with our marketing team to develop content strategies and bring ideas to life through visually appealing videos.

Additionally, you will be tasked with managing and curating social media content to maintain brand consistency and drive audience engagement.

Responsibilities:

1. Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
2. Use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to edit footage, add special effects, transitions, and audio enhancements to create visually stunning videos.
3. Ensure all video content is optimized for each social media platform's specifications and requirements.
4. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in video editing and social media content creation to continually improve content quality and engagement.
5. Manage the content calendar and schedule posts across social media platforms to maintain a consistent and engaging online presence.
6. Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
7. Analyze performance metrics and insights to track the effectiveness of video content and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a video editor and graphic designer with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and impactful video content.

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools and Photo editing software like photoshop, canva
3. Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences, trends, and best practices.
4. Strong creative vision and storytelling skills with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual content.
5. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
7. Knowledge of basic graphic design principles and experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) is a plus.
8. Experience with motion graphics and animation is desirable but not required.
