About Our Client

Our client is a well-established industrial manufacturing organisation with a strong presence in the infrastructure and engineering sector. Known for its focus on operational excellence, quality standards, and innovation, the company operates large-scale manufacturing facilities and supplies critical products to major infrastructure projects across diverse industries.

- Lead complete fabrication operations covering steel poles and related structural products.

- Drive achievement of production targets while ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery commitments.

- Oversee fabrication, welding, assembly, finishing, and dispatch operations.

- Develop capacity plans aligned to business demand and optimise utilisation of manpower, materials, and equipment.

- Manage fabrication technologies including CNC plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, press brake operations, shearing, welding, and surface protection processes.

- Champion Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and other continuous improvement initiatives.

- Establish robust quality systems, minimise rework and rejection, and drive process excellence.

- Ensure compliance with all EHS standards while promoting a strong safety culture.

- Lead and develop cross-functional teams across production, maintenance, quality,



and planning functions.

- Partner with business and finance stakeholders to improve productivity, reduce costs, and support future expansion plans.

The Successful Applicant

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

- 15+ years of experience in fabrication and manufacturing operations.

- Demonstrated leadership experience managing large fabrication plants or heavy engineering operations.

- Strong exposure to heavy fabrication, structural steel, steel processing, transmission structures, automotive, EPC, pipe manufacturing, or related sectors.

- Expertise in welding operations, fabrication processes, production planning, productivity improvement, and cost optimisation.

- Proven track record in implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and change management capabilities.
