Company Overview Our client is a leading manufacturer of in the energy sector in India, and leads the market with over 60% share.

Position Overview This is a senior, high-ownership position responsible for building the international business from the ground up for US and EMEA regions.

Responsibilities Own export revenues and cost budgets — from pipeline generation to order closure and collection.

Develop and execute a market-entry strategy for the USA, targeting UL-certified product launches and first customer wins within 12 months.

Grow existing export markets (ME&A;, Europe) by at least 10% YoY through deepened relationships and expanded product range placement.

Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, agents, and channel partners across all target geographies.

Lead high-value negotiations with utilities, EPC contractors, OEMs, and government bodies internationally.

Build a qualified international sales pipeline with a minimum 3x pipeline-to-target ratio at all times.

Skills & Experience 15–20 years of total B2B sales and sales management experience,



with a minimum of 5–

7 years specifically in international sales/exports in industrial, electrical, or power sector products.

Demonstrable track record of building export revenues from low/zero base — experience with greenfield market entry is strongly preferred.

Deep familiarity with at least two of the four priority markets (USA, ME&A;, SEA, Europe)

— existing relationships with utilities, EPCs, or distributors in these regions is a significant advantage.

Robust understanding of power sector ecosystem — utilities, transformer OEMs, EPC contractors, substation integrators.

Knowledge of international certification regimes for electrical/power equipment (UL, CE,

IEC standards).

Hands-on experience with export documentation, Letters of Credit, INCOTERMS, and logistics coordination.

Willingness and ability to travel internationally 30–40% of the time.
