Role Description The General Manager | Ben Group | Ernakulam, Kerala role at Ben is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi.

The General

Manager oversees daily showroom operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance management, to ensure smooth and productive functioning. This role is responsible for driving sales, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers to maintain an optimal product range across electrical appliances, furniture, and home items.

The General

Manager ensures high standards of customer service, manages escalations, and supports delivery and installation processes to meet service commitments. The position also involves monitoring financial performance, preparing periodic reports,



implementing promotional activities, and maintaining compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

- Strong retail operations and showroom management skills, including staff supervision, inventory control, and customer service oversight.
- Proven ability in sales management and business development, with experience in setting targets, monitoring performance, and implementing promotional strategies.
- Competence in basic finance and reporting, including budgeting, cost control, and analysis of sales and profitability metrics.
- Effective leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate teams, conduct performance reviews, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging customers, coordinating with suppliers, and working with internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on execution, time management, and handling operational challenges.
- Experience in retail, consumer electronics, furniture, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience in a similar managerial role will be considered.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kochi and flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
