Orfiq AI Solutions Ltd is Looking for:**** About Orfiq AI Solutions Ltd Orfiq AI Solutions is transforming healthcare education in India and beyond. We build iCAMS — an AI-powered SaaS platform for medical, dental, and allied healthcare institutions.
Our platform automates lesson planning, MCQ generation, automated grading, competency-mapped assessments, and eLogbook management — acting as the academic layer between the National Medical Commission (NMC) and medical colleges across India. We are a bootstrapped early-stage startup with MOUs signed with top institutions including Manipal/Mahé University, operating at the intersection of EdTech and HealthTech.
The Role We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our lean, fully remote engineering team. You will step into an existing microservices codebase, stabilise the platform, implement RBAC and authentication layers, and build new modules — primarily around aggregating tenant data into our control plane. You will work closely with our Principal Engineer and CTO, with two daily standups (10:00 AM and 4:45 PM IST) that provide overlap with our UK-based product stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain production-grade features using React (TypeScript) and ASP.NET Core (C#)
- Design and implement secure RESTful APIs with OAuth2 / JWT authentication and RBAC
- Write and optimise complex queries in Azure SQL Server
- Build internal admin portals and tooling with role-based access controls
- Work with Azure App Services, Function Apps, Container Apps, and Blob Storage
- Collaborate via Jira and documentation with cross-border product and engineering teams
- Identify and flag existing code issues proactively — we need opinions, not just execution
- Take complete ownership of features from conception to deployment
Must-Have Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional full-stack development experience (3+ preferred)
- Robust proficiency in React (hooks, state management, TypeScript) — minimum 3 years React experience; recent Angular-to-React converts will not be considered
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core / C# for building RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in Azure SQL Server — writing and optimising queries
- Experience implementing OAuth2 / JWT authentication and RBAC systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Function Apps, Storage Accounts)
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English — ability to convey ideas clearly and understand complex problem statements
- Comfort with startup dynamics — self-directed, adaptable, able to hustle when needed
- B.Tech or BE degree preferred
Good to Have
- Python FastAPI experience
- React Native for cross-platform mobile development
- GitHub Actions CI/CD familiarity
- Docker / Azure Container Apps experience
- Background in EdTech or HealthTech SaaS products
- Experience collaborating with UK or European teams across time zones
Work Setup
- Fully remote — permanent, pan-India
- Mon–Fri core working hours (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST); occasional Saturday buffer calls
- Two daily standups: 10:00 AM and 4:45 PM IST
- Report directly to CTO; work closely with Principal Engineer
Interview Process
- Round 1: Exploratory call — attitude, communication, and semi-technical assessment (Amog & Raghu)
- Round 2: Technical interview with CTO — candidate presents a real technical challenge they've solved (show-and-tell format: PPT or live walkthrough covering scalability, performance, or distributed systems)
