Role Description The Founder cum CEO and Publisher Night Birds is a full-time, in office leadership role based in Port Blair. This position is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of ANDAMAN EXPRESS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

The role includes managing transport and logistics activities, building partnerships, leading senior staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. As Publisher of Night Birds, the role also involves guiding editorial vision, supervising content planning and publication schedules, and aligning the publication’s brand with the company’s broader goals. The individual will represent the organization with key stakeholders,



lead budgeting and resource allocation, and foster an inclusive, high-performance work culture.

Qualifications

- Experience in executive leadership, business strategy, and organizational management in transportation, logistics, or related sectors.
- Proficiency in operations oversight, including planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring of transport services.
- Background in publishing, media, or content management, with the ability to guide editorial direction and brand positioning for Night Birds.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for a growing organization.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent the company externally.
- Ability to build and lead diverse teams, promote inclusive practices, and implement effective policies and processes.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks, safety standards, and compliance requirements in transportation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, management, logistics, communications, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Willingness to work on-site in Port Blair and travel as needed for business development and operational oversight.
