Position Overview

The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies that generate sustainable financial support through Corporate CSR, Foundations,

Trusts, Institutional Donors, Philanthropic Organizations, and Government-supported funding programs.

The ideal candidate will have an established track record of mobilizing resources, building strategic donor relationships, preparing winning grant proposals, and managing high-value partnerships within the Indian development sector.

Key Responsibilities Corporate Fundraising

- Develop and implement annual fundraising strategies to achieve organizational funding goals.
- Identify, cultivate, and secure funding from Corporate CSR programs, corporate foundations, philanthropic trusts, and institutional donors.
- Build long-term relationships with CSR Heads, Sustainability Leaders, Foundation Directors, donor agencies, and philanthropic institutions.
- Develop a robust fundraising pipeline and manage donor acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Institutional Grants & Proposal Development

- Identify national and international funding opportunities aligned with the organization's mission.
- Lead the development of grant proposals, concept notes, project budgets, donor presentations, and funding applications.
- Coordinate with program, finance, and technical teams to develop compelling, outcome-driven proposals.
- Ensure timely submission of proposals and donor compliance documentation.

Strategic Partnerships

- Establish and strengthen partnerships with NGOs, rehabilitation centres, hospitals,

academic institutions, corporate partners, government departments, and international development organizations.

- Develop collaborative initiatives that align with CSR priorities and donor objectives.
- Represent the organization at stakeholder meetings, CSR forums, conferences, exhibitions, and networking platforms.

Donor Relationship Management

- Manage the complete donor lifecycle, including prospect identification, meetings,

proposal presentations, negotiations, funding agreements, reporting, and renewals.





- Deliver impactful presentations and organizational pitches to senior corporate and institutional stakeholders.
- Maintain regular engagement with donors to ensure long-term partnerships and repeat funding.

Grant Management & Reporting

- Monitor funded projects to ensure compliance with donor commitments and timelines.
- Prepare utilization reports, impact reports, progress reports, and grant closure documentation.
- Maintain donor records, fundraising dashboards, and partnership databases.

Market Intelligence

- Monitor trends in CSR legislation, ESG priorities, philanthropy, institutional funding, and government initiatives.
- Identify emerging funding opportunities and recommend cutting-edge fundraising approaches.

Qualifications

- MBA in Marketing, General Management, Development Management, Public Policy, Social Entrepreneurship, or a related discipline.
- MSW (Master of Social Work) or an equivalent postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.

Experience

- 610 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 3-4 years in corporate fundraising
- Proven track record raising funds from Corporate CSR, Corporate Foundations, Philanthropic Trusts, Family Offices, Institutional Donors, Foundations and Government

/ International Agency grants.

- Experience handling grants above 2 Crore
- Demonstrated ability to close CSR partnerships independently
- Strong sales pipeline management and consistent achievement of annual fundraising targets
- Strong understanding of the Indian CSR ecosystem and institutional fundraising landscape.
- Clear ownership of revenue targets
- Hands-on experience in proposal pitching and CXO-level stakeholder management
- Experience building strategic, long-term partnerships and donor relationships
- Willingness to travel extensively for donor meetings, CSR engagements, conferences, and partnership development.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

• A minimum of 6–10 years of continuous experience in the NGO/Development Sector.

- Proven success in raising funds from Corporate CSR programs and institutional donors.
- An established network with Corporate CSR Heads, Foundations, Trusts, and Philanthropic Organizations.
- Strong proposal writing and donor engagement capabilities.
- Hands on experience in Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013 and CSR Rules
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- A passion for creating sustainable social impact through strategic partnerships.
