Role Description The Football Academy Technical Head is a full-time, in office role based in Delhi, India. This position oversees the technical framework of the academy, including planning and implementing age-specific training curricula, session plans, and development pathways for players.

The Technical

Head will supervise and mentor coaching staff, conduct regular training evaluations, and ensure sessions align with international best practices. Daily responsibilities include monitoring player progress, organizing assessments, collaborating with management on program improvements, and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the pitch.



The role also involves engaging with parents and stakeholders to communicate development goals, program structure, and player performance in a clear and consistent manner.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills to assess player performance, training effectiveness, and long-term development outcomes.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with players, coaches, parents, and management in a clear and respectful manner.

Proficiency in technical support related to football training tools, performance analysis software, and session planning platforms.

Demonstrated team management skills, including leading coaching staff, coordinating schedules, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Experience in training and player development, including designing and delivering age-appropriate football coaching sessions.

Advanced coaching certifications (e.g., AFC/UEFA or equivalent) and proven experience in academy or youth football environments.

Strong understanding of long-term athlete development models, sports science basics, and injury prevention principles.
