Role Description The Finance and Accounts Sr Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based at the corporate office in Kolkata. The role involves overseeing day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly/annual closing activities.

Manager will prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. This position will supervise the finance team, coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities, support cost control initiatives, and provide financial insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.



The role also includes improving financial processes, implementing best practices, and supporting the company’s growth and quality-focused objectives.

Qualifications

Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management, finalization of accounts, and financial statement preparation.

Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic planning and performance monitoring.

Product costing Knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliance, and regulatory frameworks Finalization of Annual Balance Sheets and monthly financial statements

Experience with cost control, cash flow management, and working capital optimization in a corporate environment.

Ability to lead and mentor a finance team, delegate tasks effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with robust MS Excel and data analysis capabilities.

Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a high level of integrity and ethical standards.

Master’s degree or professional qualification such as CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) preferred, with significant experience in senior finance roles.

Prior experience in pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or manufacturing organizations will be an advantage.
