Key Responsibilities
- Supervise furnace operations, charging, melting, alloy additions, and metal tapping.
- Ensure molten metal meets required chemical composition and temperature specifications.
- Monitor furnace performance, productivity, and energy consumption.
- Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to meet casting schedules.
- Supervise operators, allocate work, and maintain shift discipline.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE, and housekeeping (5S).
- Maintain daily melting, consumption, and production records.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance of furnaces and melting equipment.
