Executive Vice President – Finance & Strategic Investments (EVP – FSI)

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Executive Vice President – Finance & Strategic Investments (EVP–FSI) to lead the organization's capital strategy, fundraising initiatives, and institutional financing partnerships. This leadership role is responsible for securing strategic investments, developing innovative financing models, strengthening banking and investor relationships, and enabling the organization's ambitious national expansion across rural entrepreneurship, drone technology, manufacturing, and future technology infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate finance, fundraising, project finance, investor relations, financial structuring, and strategic investments, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, financial institutions, government agencies, and global investors.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Strategy & Fundraising

Develop and execute the organization's capital raising strategy across equity, debt, venture capital, private equity, grants, CSR, multilateral agencies, and impact funds.

Lead fundraising initiatives to support large-scale national expansion and strategic growth projects.

Identify and build long-term relationships with domestic and international investors.

Banking & Institutional Partnerships

Establish strategic partnerships with Public Sector Banks, Private Banks, NBFCs, SIDBI, NABARD, NCDC, NSDC, and other financial institutions.

Develop financing frameworks for rural entrepreneurship, drone financing, electric mobility, renewable energy, and technology-led initiatives.

Negotiate institutional lending programs, credit facilities, and structured financing solutions.

Project Finance & Financial Structuring

Design scalable financing models for large infrastructure and technology projects.





Structure project financing through PPP, Viability Gap Funding (VGF), infrastructure finance, and blended finance mechanisms.

Lead financial planning for manufacturing facilities, technology parks, Centres of Excellence, and large-scale infrastructure projects.

Investor Relations & Strategic Investments

Lead investor engagement, due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, and investment presentations.

Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, venture capital firms, development finance institutions, and strategic partners.

Support mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and investment opportunities.

Government & Development Finance

Collaborate with Central and State Government departments to leverage subsidy schemes, credit guarantee programs, and development financing initiatives.

Develop partnerships with international development agencies, export credit agencies, and global financial institutions.

Treasury & Financial Risk Management

Oversee treasury operations, liquidity planning, capital allocation, and financial risk management.

Develop long-term capital planning strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, governance standards, and risk management frameworks.

Leadership & Strategic Planning

Provide strategic financial guidance to the Chairman and Executive Leadership Team.

Lead high-performing finance and investment teams while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.

Drive financial transformation initiatives to support sustainable organizational growth.



Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent qualified qualification preferred.

Additional certifications in Investment Banking, Project Finance, Financial Modelling, or Treasury Management will be an added advantage. Experience

15–20+ years of progressive leadership experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Infrastructure Finance, or Strategic Investments.

Proven experience in raising capital through equity, debt, institutional funding, or development finance.

Strong experience in investor relations, financial modelling, valuation, and project finance.

Demonstrated expertise in building partnerships with banks, NBFCs, government institutions, and financial organizations.

Experience managing large-scale financial transactions, strategic investments, and capital allocation. Key Skills
