Qualification

MS Ophthalmology

DNB Ophthalmology

DO (Diploma in Ophthalmology)

Registration

Valid RMC / State Medical Council Registration

Experience

Experienced candidates preferred

Candidates should be capable of independently managing comprehensive Ophthalmology OPD services

---

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive Eye OPD consultations

Diagnose and manage cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors, dry eye, conjunctivitis, and other common ophthalmic disorders

Perform slit-lamp examination, fundoscopy, tonometry, and refraction

Interpret diagnostic investigations including OCT, Fundus Photography, Visual Field Analysis, and B-Scan as required

Manage ophthalmic emergencies and provide appropriate referrals when needed

Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medications, and preventive eye care

Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation

Coordinate with Retina, Cornea, Glaucoma, Cataract,



and Oculoplasty specialists for comprehensive patient care

Ability to work independently in a high-volume OPD setup
