Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Actuaries to help train advanced AI systems. You will create, evaluate, and refine realistic actuarial tasks involving risk assessment, pricing, reserving, forecasting, and financial modeling. You will verify technical accuracy, assumptions, and practical relevance, helping AI produce reliable, well-reasoned outputs aligned with professional actuarial standards and real-world insurance and financial applications.
Requirements
- 38 years of professional actuarial experience in insurance, consulting, pensions, healthcare, or financial services.
- Progress toward a recognized actuarial qualification, with multiple exams passed through SOA, CAS, IFoA, or an equivalent regional body.
- Strong experience in actuarial reserving, including assumption setting, loss development, and reserve analysis.
- Practical knowledge of pricing, forecasting, profitability analysis, and risk-modeling techniques.
- Ability to create technically accurate,
realistic actuarial tasks with transparent assumptions, calculations, methodologies, and conclusions.
Responsibilities
- Produce expert tasks and solutions in the functional area to the pod's quality bar.
- Work under senior review; incorporate calibration feedback and iterate.
- Apply the rubric standards set by the Functional SME (Expert) Lead.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
- Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.
Offer Details:
- Commitments Required: at least 4 hours per day and up to 40 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
- Engagement type: Contractor
- Engagement Length: Up to 9 weeks
